Peris Njoroge is a gender and renewable energy researcher at the Technical University of Kenya with expertise in gender, equity and inclusion, climate change, energy policy, and community engagement. Her interests are in energy policy research, climate adaptation, renewable energy innovation, and co-designing clean energy solutions with local communities. She leads studies on policy, adaptation strategies, and gendered innovation in rural and urban African contexts; and contributes to research and consultancy on energy transitions, sustainable development and community training in energy systems. Her publications address gender in energy policy, climate action, governance, and community energy innovation. Peris’s approach, is rooted in local engagement and evidence-based practice, to advance inclusive solutions for energy and climate challenges at both policy and grassroots levels.
