2. Stranded Assets, Green Growth, and Climate Resilience
Focus: Aligning Africa’s transition with global climate goals and advancing adaptation, while managing fossil-based assets and promoting green growth.
Possible Topics:
- Risks and opportunities of stranded fossil fuel assets
- Low-carbon development pathways
- Strategies for managing strategic resources and minerals
- Climate adaptation and environmental safeguards
- Corporate social responsibility in energy transitions
3. Energy Access, Social Justice, and Community Participation
Focus: Ensuring energy transitions are inclusive and enhance access to reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy for all.
Possible Topics:
- Gender and social equity in energy access
